1. What decides my Partner status if I am working with OnLine Distribution Ltd already?
The following outlines the criteria each current partner reseller is reviewed on to allocate Partner Status. Each area is considered and scored and the total score then corresponds to a Partner Status level in the program.
Coverage:
- Geographical coverage – e.g. more than one location
- Breadth of offering - product range offered by partner
Capability:
- Technical capability
- Sales capability – number of sales staff & selling skills
- Professional services staff and professional services offered
- Strategic partnerships
Capacity
- Revenue
- Size of customer base
- Activity frequency with OnLine
- Size of each transaction
Commitment
- Business/Marketing plans in place
- Reactive versus proactive
- Propensity to partner with OnLine
- Advocacy
2. When do you refresh my partner status if I have joined at the registration level?
New partners with a limited or no relationship history with OnLine enroll at the Registered Partner Level. We review the program every 6 months and make adjustments to your membership level based on your achievements.
3. Is revenue the only criteria for recognizing my partner status?
Revenue is just one of the areas that is taken into consideration when allocating partner status. Many other areas including your Coverage, Capability, Capacity, and Commitment as outlined in point 1 above are reviewed and considered.
4. Can I request for special pricing even if I am a registered partner?
The Program encourages our reseller customers to grow their business in partnership with OnLine. While special pricing is a listed benefit for our Authorized or Premier partners, if you have a significant or strategic sales opportunity, please discuss this with your OnLine Distribution account representative.
5. How does Business planning help me?
Joint Business and Marketing Planning will allow OnLine to support your organization with identifying its goals and strategic direction along with key markets to target with select networking solutions. In essence your organization will be able to go to market more strategically, produce more effective materials, sell more efficiently, compete more effectively, close more sales, shorten the sales cycle, reduce costs and more.
